We had an AMAZING day golfing in the July Iowa sunshine (and 95 degree temperatures), raising money for the Jack Beno and and Bill Dickenson memorial scholarships. The proceeds from this annual event help provide much-needed financial assistance for future safety professionals, and your Executive Committee is proud to announce that our financial goals for this event were MET – thanks to all the awesome members, golfers, and sponsors who participated!
The money we raised also helps to fund a $500 scholarship that can be used by “non-traditional” students (like current safety professionals who never completed their degree – or who need additional education to receive needed certifications, etc.). If you’d like to register in advance for NEXT year’s golfing event, you can do so today! We’ve opened the registration for golfers and sponsors already (for those who like to plan ahead). Be sure to block out time on next year’s calendar for Friday, July 26, 2024! We’ll be back at Toad Valley in Altoona, IA, and we hope to see you there.
