Topic: NFPA 70E Best Practices, PPE and more

We will explore NFPA 70E from a 101 view and learn of some best practices, some key changes over the years and key learnings of what is expected!  We will also discuss FR/AR garments and what’s available along with proper selection, care, maintenance and Ah Ha moments!

Speaker: Kam Alipour, Regional Manager for Cintas Corporation based in the Twin Cities

Kam has responsibilities for Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Nebraska and Montana.  Cintas is North America’s largest provider of managed flame-resistant clothing programs.  With over 15+ years of experience in the FR/AR world, Kam has had the opportunity and pleasure to work with thousands of companies across the United States from small local businesses to Fortune 100 companies in implementing FR clothing and PPE solution programs for Arc Flash, Flash Fire and Molten Metal hazards.  He is a active member of the NW ASSP  Chapter and partners with the Minnesota Safety Council along with the North Dakota Safety council as a member.
