Hawkeye Chapter Meeting Update (as of March 16th)

UPDATE: No “in person” meeting will be held

As you know, the landscape around the coronavirus pandemic continues to shift rapidly. Over the past few days, many communities and states across the United States have enacted new measures and added travel and social distancing precautions to slow the spread of coronavirus. Based on these developments and out of an abundance of caution and care, we are not going to gather together in person for our Government Affairs and Chapter Election Meeting that had been scheduled for April 6th, 2020.

We do still need to hold an election to determine next year’s Chapter Executive Board members.  However, we are currently exploring different options so we can do this electronically.  That way, all our members can still participate, and nobody will suffer negative health exposures.  As soon as we have these plans finalized, we will send out an updated message explaining how you can participate.

If we CAN find a way to hold a non-traditional video or webinar meeting in April, we will be sure to announce that as well…  (stay tuned!)

😀

Obviously, our top priority is protecting the health and well-being of our chapter members and our local communities. As we all adapt to the new realities this situation is creating, please continue to follow the latest guidance from organizations like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization, as well as information from our local health and government authorities. Be sure to check ASSP’s website frequently for updates as well. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks for your understanding (and stay healthy out there)!

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
